The International Institute of Technology had the pleasure of receiving in its premises and for the first time the ambassador of the United Kingdom; her Excellency Louise de Sousa accompanied by Mr Robert Ness who is the director of the British Council who were received by the director of the International Institute of Technology Mr Chafik Abid.
During this courtesy visit, but not only, her Excellency seized the opportunity to discover the work and achievements of the engineering students and at the same time a magnificent interaction was present during the discussions held between her excellence and our students in the English language. which, in turn, aroused the fascination of our guest.
During this visit, the discussions naturally focused on collaboration between our institution and the British Council as well as the United Kingdom. Promoting close relations has been the focus of discussions. In this partnership perspective, a convention signing ceremony took place. This is the inauguration of the Aptis center which is the first in the region of Sfax. This agreement is essentially based on three axes: the first is to deepen openness to the international, the second is to assess the level of students according to professional standards that will better match the job market.
As for the third point, it consists of defining the IIT as a delocalized center for the passing of British Council examinations.
